The CinemaCon 2024 “Moana 2” footage opens with Moana doing her factor on her boat, using the waves along with her pig pal Pua and having a good time. She says “we’re again” earlier than singing a brand new tune about returning to her island. These characters are returning to inform their story — and don’t be concerned, Hei Hei the rooster is again, too. As she sings, there are dolphins within the sea leaping within the water and loving her tune. The motion transitions to the island, and extra folks take over the tune, which gives one thing of a recap of the primary movie. However now Moana and her individuals are constructing and increasing. The tune could be very traditional Disney exposition in a form of pleasant means. Ryan Scott factors out that the animation appears very polished and really clear, particularly for one thing that was going to be a Disney+ sequence.
